This super cute casita is in one of the loveliest locations in town with clear views of the Caribbean Sea. It’s backing onto the Boca del Rio Park, right on the beach, so you can kick off your shoes and wiggle your toes in the sand from the moment you arrive.

Take a quick stroll to some of the best and most popular restaurants and bars on the island and you’ll soon discover that the locals are welcoming and fun. Don’t be surprised if they invite you to join in their games of basketball or volleyball on the beach. Staying at Casita Playa del Parque, you'll be completely immersed in our local culture.

Just beside the park, is the river that splits the Caye, and the shore is where families gather for picnics, fishing and swimming, especially on weekends. If you’ve brought children, you’ll be delighted to know that there’s a playground within easy sight from your front porch where they can safely have fun and make new friends.

The center of town is a short walk and convenient for shopping.

This stylish and comfortable, newly renovated 2 bed/1 bath beach casita has 30Mb WiFi and split AC units in both bedrooms and the living room. Each bedroom has a king-sized bed and one of the King beds can be converted into twins.

There’s a 60-inch TV in the living room as well as a smaller TV in each bedroom, all connected to cable with over 100 channels. This makes it an ideal little getaway for four adults or a small family, especially as it has a fully equipped kitchen stocked with all the basics and a washing machine and dryer. Because of its community based location, and there is a bar/restaurant next door, this property is best suited for adventurous/active travelers that want to immerse themselves in Belizean culture rather than sitting by the pool sipping Piña Coladas or being in bed early.

You’ll find every possible water and beach activity on your doorstep. San Pedro is a premier destination for fly, reef and deep-sea fishing and has some of the best guides in the world. Divers will want to experience the Belize Barrier Reef, atolls, and The Blue Hole. As water sports are the soul of beach life, this is the perfect time to try kite surfing or paddle boarding or, if you want to get further out on the water, you can rent kayaks or jet skis. There are sunset cruises, snorkeling, and island-hopping excursions, and so many more fantastic tours available.

Belize isn’t just about the beach though, so you’ll want to hit the mainland for a real jungle adventure, visit the zoo, climb an ancient Maya temple, cave tube, swim under a waterfall, or zip line over the rainforest canopy.

Set one day aside to explore the island as you’ll discover that there are some pristine locations, where you can spot birds and other wildlife. You might want to check out some of the unique restaurants and great hangouts, some of which are roadside, while others will involve a fun-filled trek to places like Secret Beach.

Our Mobile Guest Guide is integrated with GMaps making it easy to find your way around town. Each listing is linked to TripAdvisor; we’ve even linked the menus to many of the restaurants. The Guide is also searchable, so you can easily find the nearest Seafood or even Vegetarian options. We offer full concierge services and can arrange everything for you so that all you need to think about is having fun. So, just let us know, and we’ll book all your tours, in-country flights, and arrange golf cart rentals with no add on booking fees.

At the casita, you’ll find we’ve provided one 5-gallon bottle of drinking water, a phone with $5USD credit, linens, bath/beach towels, toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, shampoo/conditioner, and cleaning supplies.

  We traveled as a family of 4 - two of which are teens. As others have said, this house in right in the thick of it! There is a bar next door that plays music until about 11 pm. Personally, we enjoyed the atmosphere. The location was great with good golf cart parking and easy access to many of the places we wanted to check out - Wayo's, Nauticrab, Palapa's, Truck Stop. We had a couple of issues come up during the stay, but the management company was super responsive and those were very quickly resolved. The home was spacious and clean and offered everything we needed. And the bonus of the bar next door was it was easy to grab a night cap to enjoy with the awesome view from the deck. We had a great time and would stay again!

  This is great little place central to pretty much everything. We enjoyed our morning coffees on the rear deck every morning while taking in the beautiful ocean view and sunshine. The house has everything you'll need for cooking to relaxing and each bedroom is quite private. Simon and his crew were very quick to answer or deal with any issue or questions we had.We did not rent a golf cart until after day 3, but soon learned why it's a must and enjoyed one for the remaining 10 days. The Casita is located 30ft from a little market store with fresh fruit, vegetables, eggs, etc. There is a fuel station located just over the bridge, about 1 block and numerous little bars, restaurants, beach BQ's all along the beach. We would highly recommend this place.

  The house was a good home base for exploring the island! Very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend the golf cart rental as it allowed us to visit the town and the island freely.
  One thing to note, although the house is on the water, the water was not at all swimmable because of a huge amount of algue in the water (the whole beach on that side of the island is filled with them). We adapted and went to Secret beach on most days because of this, but thought it could be useful for others to know.
  Also, you definitely need earplugs for sleep as the bar next door has very loud music until 11-12 pm.
  Other than those two things, i would definitely recommend the house, and the host was very helpful and responsive!

    Thank you so much for your input Michaela. Sargassum has been an issue lately but the winds are due to change later in the week and should clear the beaches. The town council is actively hiring workers to clean the beachfront all the way from the house to the south end of town.

  A unique little red house, My wife and I stayed here for five weeks and enjoyed every day of it. The house is in a special location, with the back of the house facing the sea with some playground equipment in between the house in the sea and the front of the house on the main street within a couple hundred feet of the bridge separating the north and south parts of the island. Excellent walking location and everything you need within a minute or two. The property management company was the best that we have had and took care of every little problem immediately. The only caveat is that it is next to a bar that was being rehabilitated while we were there. When it reopens it might create a louder more musical experience for people in the red house.
